I got a 45-minute haircut (#3 all over buzz cut, done with scissors) and a straight razor shave on my face...all for $3...in Egypt.
Is that the Hyde Park Hair Salon? I've been there a couple of times, great place. The barber, Zareef, that cut my hair is supposedly President Obama's old barber.
Since I've split from the ex-ball n chain have grown mine out, I only get it cut like 3 times a year. Like the saying goes, long hair don't cost a thing if you can afford it!
He pretty much said it was luck and a called it a fluke. Didn't base it on actual knowledge of the game or even anyhting basketball related. While I do agree that luck played some part of it, we all know the Rockets were playing great defense and team ball during the streak. It bothered me to think that someone on local radio was so ignorant on a subject he get's paid to talk about.
I was going to a Hispanic joint for about $10, but they started getting a little violent with the clippers on my scalp. Now I just trim it close to the scalp (next thing to shaving it) every few weeks or so. We had the clippers from grooming our dogs anyway, so...I guess it costs nothing and comes out perfect every time.
$20 plus $5 dollar tip. I only stay as this same lady has cut my hair for something like 20 years. Go once every 5-6 weeks.
I pay about $15-20 at assorted barbershops throughout Manhattan. Not sure how ya'll anyone is paying over $20 in Houston, but then again my haircut is always easy and fast.
I pay $25... Have paid as much as $40 back in the day... I don't trust just anyone with my hair... word no layups
I tip my barber 5 bucks including the 20.00 Surcharge that includes a facial cleansing, a massage, and scalp cleansing...
