I don't think we'll put Rice on there.

This is why I like college baseball. You don't have to be a large state school to make the cws. I think everyone has 11.7 scholarships.

The horns fans? You make it sound as if there will be some other sorts of fans there! That would be HILARIOUS if Texas played a game in H-town, and Rice or UH actually had fans show up that even relatively matched the number Texas will send.

Anyway, congrats. Rice fans have the right to celebrate their national championship. Likewise, we'll have the right to celebrate beating the hell out of Rice "on the road." But then again, the word "celebrate" tends to have the connotation of doing something of worth- beating Rice doesn't seem to fit the bill. :)

By the way, I totally dig "The Mob." As a UT Ex, I loved seeing them bring their brand of humor and wit to an audience that doesn't all understand it, but would be better off if they did. Just a zany and unique experience to catch a university band with some sort of purpose greater than playing a couple of songs we've heard umpteen times.

Went over and picked up a t-shirt tonight. It was the last one left so I had to get a medium, but luckily it's not too tight on me. I have to say I'm a big fan of the shirt. Also, I appreciate all the UT people who are being gracious, y'all beat us last year to win the CWS and we got you this year. I root for UT against most other teams. In fact, I'm even a UT student myself now since I started Med School last week at UT-Houston.
