your sig says otherwise. all the highlight video of rice winning the cws during the rice/UT football game this year says otherwise (i'm sure it's b/c y'all were honoring the baseball team that night, must've been a coincidence). rice is the one that put all the focus on beating UT. we can't help it if everyone pays attention to us.

UT can’t help it everyone has them as the game/the enemy. You know, it all boils down to size envy. Same reason guys without boatloads of kids by big luxury SUVs.

seriously....there are few things i despise worse than the horns down sign. so classless.

the worst example was nolen richardson doing it in austin in a first round tourney game after squeaking out a win against freaking TSU. Ridiculous. Meanwhile, the Horns were up in a bracket playing Oregon. Richardson, at a press conference, said, "i've beaten texas so many times and today i beat them again."

ummmm...no, nolen...you beat TSU....not the university of texas.

I have a friend who grew up in Chicago, so he really has no affiliation with UT. In the OU game a couple of years ago, the Sooners were doing the horns down and his reaction was, "How can they do that without getting flagged? Why is that not taunting?"
