There is a reason why no one will hire Larry Coker.

It's because his record is inflated by Butch Davis' recruits. When he brought in his recruits, he got fired.

 

This is due to the fact that Rice alums give money to the school, not the athletic department.

 

I call BS. Nobody with any intelligence would ever choose to go to UH over Rice. There is simply no logical reason to do such a thing.

Rice is not fully of rich kids....at all. You clearly didn't do a lick of investigating the school if you feel that way.

Rice is an excellent school, but a full scholarship to another university is a fairly logical reason to pass on the Owls.

You might actually be right on this -- "full ride" to UH may have meant a four year bus pass down Cullen.

 

Yes all the people with pocket protecters on will always choose rice over UH. I always saw them to be what they were Nerds.
