    If you trade for him, you get to offer him a bigger/longer contract. That increases the odds of keeping him. It gives you an edge over other teams. Plus, you get him for the playoffs. As currently constructed, the Rockets will be underdogs in the post season.

    This same argument applies to the Rockets too though. There is no way we could afford to give him the max either.

    With Phx playing as well as they are, hard to seem them trading away their best player. Would be tough move to do.

    Spot on. My feeling is DMOs name will start coming up in trade rumors the closer the trade deadline rolls around. He's the hot commodity at the moment.

    The temptation to trade him for Goran will be there. I don't think Morey will go that route, unless Josh Smith hits a purple patch, and we all know that is unlikely to happen.
