why would he have a grudge with Adelman anyway? Its not like the Pistons wanting to trade with the Knicks, Adelman's contract was up 2 seasons ago and the Kings let him walk. So I dunno why he would hold a personal grudge with his former coach.
dadumb...your signatures are both creative and funny...you are so gifted and talented...that gundlemort...dang now thats chris rock funny
wow lets hope we are pathetic with 52 wins and homecourt advantage...lets hope everyone is healthy and we will win 60 the way everyone talks...dadumb is right...its been beaten to death without any thought of the results
I think that continued bash of JVG is just an admission that he is really missed. People try and convince themselves over and over they hate him and are glad he is gone. Yet... They still talk about him and bash him at every turn. They make signatures about him. Very amusing. It hurt me to see him go. But, I let go. Some of you haters should also. We have a new coach. Lets talk about how he is going to transform the Rockets into a more up and down team with a 300lbs slow center and a wing player with a bad back. Thats a conversation for the present. Lets stop talking past. JVG is gone. He blew it.
I have been trying to have a little fun with my sig and snippets about JVG etc, but it is clear that because of my overposting about the guy this year etc....the jokes will be read as gloating or worse. So, gonna bail on the JVG humor/stuff for a while......it is clearly too sore a spot to rub, especially by me. And, since my pal Almu doesn't like the sig....It makes it unacceptable to me as well, because I know he is a true Rockets fan..... Sorry Almu and all other true Rocket fans....no harm intended....... Must not reply....must........not...........reply........... DD
I disagree. People do not bash JVG because they miss him. People bash him because even those who were formerly pro-JVG (like myself) see that his faults are too egregious to ignore any longer, and are glad he is gone. In the end, JVG's inflexibility and rigidness was the exact opposite thing we needed from a coach on a team that featured talented multi-dimensional players who were capable of so much more. And I dont' think Adelman will transform this team into the Phoenix Suns. If you watched the Adelman introductory press conference, Adelman stressed movement rather than speed. Therefore, we will still play a half-court game, but there will be much more ball movement to create easier shots.
It is the same Ric who came out and said Kobe will not put on Laker gear next season. Either he would be traded or he's sit out. Slightly different. It is the same Ric who had some interesting Van Gundys observations.
