    um ...i don't want any of Minny's scrubs. I'm not even sure i want Derrick Williams. Seems like a Marcus Morris clone to me. Beasley seems like an undersized PF (deja vu) with a 2 cent head. Wes Johnson is a full-scale bust. No one on that team makes us better ...except Pek and i doubt they get rid of him.

    Throwin in Bud at under 1M/yr to replace Beasley sould be a nice addition...
    If they'd rather go young... JHill with Kmart/Bud - I'd even toss in the knicks pick possibly...

    i wonder if aquiring Gasol is just a stepping stone to aquiring one of the all-star free agents. For example, wouldn't Gasol/Martin/and picks (or young assets) for Howard and salary-filler get it done for Orlando? Then, you try and sell Williams on signing with Houston to play with Howard. Too fantastical or is this the kind of thing Morey is thinking about?

    I saw Bucher say just that in ESPN. That the Lowry/Scola deal is on the table but Lakers are looking for a better deal. I personally think he's making stuff up and doesn't know ****

    Pretty much. Im disappointed in the lack of basketball knowledge in this thread. Trading Lowry & Scola for Gasol is by far a terrible trade.

    Exactly. Maybe the Lakers are looking at an All Star possibility in trade, and, barring that, might settle for our deal or see if Morey will sweeten it. Which I doubt.

    Kupchak isn't dealing Pau, just to deal Pau. They'd give up Pau only if it was the cost of an All Star level player/PG in return.
