you're right. he's done absolutely horrible putting together a couple of 50+ win seasons with minimal talent and oft-injured superstars.

when you stop being stupid, i'll stop calling you an idiot.

Well bozo, be my guest if your expectation of "win now" stops at the end of a regular season.

How can anyone blame JVG for Bonzi being a mistake to sign (and most of us were dying to get him so cheap), a fat-ass on arrival, a distraction to the team, a whining b****, and worst of all, his sole contribution to the team being a cheap headband?

Blame Van Gundy for a lot, if you must (and I might!), but for Bonzi? No way!

I don't understand people like Bonzi. Play like want to get paid, not like you're getting paid. He's apparently too stupid to figure out that no one will even want to pay him two million -- which is not exactly paltry -- if that's his attitude.

You have lots of good reasons for disliking JVG, but saying that Bonzi and Stro are his fault is totally stretching it

dude, you're blaming van gundy for the shortcomings of swift, bonzi, 2 rookies (one of which is good at one thing and one thing only), a player who didn't make a name for himself until he got to his 3rd team, and an average player at best.

if that quote bonzi made doesn't get you off jvg's back, nothing will.

and that makes you an idiot.

i can do this all day.

And not using the ignore feature when it's being demanded, that makes you an idiot.

All of Carroll Dawson's moves are coming back to haunt him.

Funny how both sides of the Bonzi argument take the far extreme, when IMO, the truth is that both JVG and Bonzi are at fault.

    It takes 2 to tango.

Wow, if this is true then I take back everything negative I said about JVG not playing him.

Of course, if it were me, I would have played him 40 minutes a game just to piss him off.

While JVG is not responsible for these players' shortcomings, he certainly did next to nothing to utilize their strengths and develop a deeper bench for the playoffs. The only thing he did well was winning a few more regular season games at the cost of burning out the starters, including the two injury-prone All-Stars.

That quote has no redeeming value in sugar-coating JVG's miserable failures in the playoffs as a Rockets head coach.

Whatever bozo, your blind support of JVG and your sig still suck in the face of reality.

I'm with you wnes, there are people out there that will go to the ends of the earth to support Gundy, just mind boggling!

25% of Bonzi, that's an awful lot. Can we cash it in on whoever we want? I'd like Nash, and he's about 25% of Bonzi.

What's mind-boggling is people not supporting a coach who has won 50 + games 3 out of his 4 years here and put this team in the playoffs 3 of those 4 years with **** talent around Yao and T-Mac.

Utah, with the exception of McGrady had better talent across the board.
Dallas had better talent across the board in 05. The same with the Lakers

Just accept that the Rockets don't have enough talent to compete......

No it doesn't. All it took was Bonzi being a fat jerk with a bad attitude who never got into shape. He did that all by himself without anyone's help. They both might be at fault but nobody is responsible for Bonzi's sorry attitude but Bonzi. His lengthy track record speaks for itself. I'm just glad he wont be back next season.

    takes 2 to tango...takes 1 to quit.

ultimately the ball was in bonzi's court at the end of the season and he quit. NO matter what, bonzi ulimately ended it all.
