TMac was traded to the Rox the same summer that they got Howard.

Even with Howard, there are too many variables to really predict what would have happened. T-Mac seemed like he wanted to win or have a team that was going to atleast contend and he didn't think Orlando was going to give him that. So even with Howard, it still took him 3 years to really get developed into a low post SCORING threat so no telling if T-Mac would have stayed considering his problems with the GM.

True, but you left out the part of the definition that says it's designed to make a point... But I fail to see the point of this question. Unless it is to goad and closet Orlando fans...

TMac found new life when he came to Houston. If he had stayed in Orlando, ofcourse he wouldn't have been as effective - his heart wouldn't have been in it.

Tracy + Howard would equal the magic being a finals threat in the east as early as last year. The combo wouldnt be better than Yao and Mac but in the east it wouldnt have to be.

All that aside though... we really did own them didn't we? Seriously though, what the hell happened to stevie franchise... 3 years ago the guy looked like an all-star caliber player who'd be around awhile. How the mighty have fallen. I'm just glad we could get a top 5 swingman, and indeed one of the best players in the league, for so cheap.
