As long as you will bend the knee............one thing that I just don't get, logical people know vaccines work, but now that maga has a different take the rest of them take it as gospel......from an asshat like RFK, we are living in bizzarro world. The worst thing is, this is not something that may affect them in the next few years but could take a decade and by then it will be to late. I have to think some rational maga women will stand up and say, "this is AWESOME" and then privately take their kid to the Dr to get the vaccines.

it's hilarious that now so called "liberals" hate the fact RFK Jr is in there and one of the things he wants to do is fight big pharma. Do you realize RFK Jr helped tremendously with suburban women? Stop listening to your echo chamber. RFK's "MAHA" values are straight liberal. So weird to see these corporate democrats hate that, but then again it makes perfect sense

He is a grifter. He only went to Trump because Kamala said "Get your ass out of here with your crazy ****. You are not going to be in the administration." Then he went **** in mouth, I mean hat in hand to Trump. He is not going to fight big pharma as a whole. He is going to fight big pharma's vaccines. These suburban housewives you speak of are the same morons who listened to Jenny McCarthy.

Yeah they side with big pharma. We don't need big pharma ads on TV and need to stop the loop of pharma execs leading government health agencies, pushing more crappy drugs. I just saw one for people with a "backed up gut". How about you just fast for a few hours to let the clog pass/your body can digest? **** is ridiculous. All about the $$.

If RFK didn't flip, none of these whiny libs would complain if he had the same role under Kamala.

Libs cheer laundry, they stand for nothing else. Just like how they all about-faced regarding the Covid vaccine when it started while Trump was still in office (I would NEVER trust anything that rolled out that quickly) then changed their mind when Biden took office (get jabbed or DIE!)..it was same shot.

I think this post is wrong on many levels. Operation Warp Speed was considered a scientific triumph, for the most part, and vaccine skepticism was much higher among Republicans than Democrats. There is no way that RFK would be appointed as head of HHS in a Democratic administration, and in the improbable event that it happened there would be loud complaints from both sides (Republicans would probably focus on his support for abortion rights).

There is literally video of people like kamala and Pelosi saying they would never take the "Trump vaccine". Don't try rewriting history.

They said they wouldn't trust Trump himself on whether the vaccines are safe, because they don't consider him a credible source of medical information. That is a rational position. When the vaccines were said to be safe by actual health officials, then Democrats supported it. It is true that this happened after Trump lost the election. I forgot that. But a number of Democratic commentators (like Ezra Klein) have pointed out Operation Warp Speed as one of the legitimate successes of the Trump administration.

On COVID vaccine acceptance opinions in 2020:

Most Americans expect a COVID-19 vaccine within a year; 72% say they would get vaccinated | Pew Research Center

It was (D) 79% vs (R) 65% between Democrats and Republicans on whether they would accept a COVID vaccine if available today. This was in May 2020. At the same time, Republicans were more willing to accept experimental drugs, (R) 69% vs (D) 50%. That would explain hesitancy to accept a vaccine if it was only endorsed by Trump and not yet by health officials.

The divide on vaccine acceptance would become even more polarized in subsequent years, but Democrats have been less skeptical of vaccines than Republicans, on average, going back decades.

You are saying it should be illegal for them to advertise?

So are you against all drugs or just ones for constipation?

I don't know if you realize this, but "big pharma" is no different than "big Elon" - rich people are rich and enrich themselves. I suggest you apply the same lens to everything.

We voted for this. The more ridiculous, the better. Gimme the vaccine denier, the sex trafficker, the crypto grifter - I want all of them.

It's amazing how many of the conservative posters on here are experts on drugs, climate change, economics, etc - all just from reading right-wing blogs.

A lifetime of study <<<< 3 min blog read.

No wonder they support incompetent fools to run things they know nothing about.

I dont know if you realize this, but only the US and NZ have laws that allow big pharma to advertise prescription meds directly on TV.

I dont know if you realize this, but big pharma is in no way, shape, or form anywhere close to this "big Elon". That's a terrible comparison.

Again, amazing how these liberals views are being argued against by the new corporate democrats

He's a Kennedy that how. He fits in with Trumps nepo baby administration perfectly. If his name were Robert F. Smith he would be a complete nobody that went nowhere, but because he's D.C. royalty he gets to fail upward in life.

It's funny, he's actually very liberal in most social aspects, but the Dems know he's way off the reservation so he went with the side that would platform him.
