Concur, especially when you consider things like steam. 15 years later, assuming steam still worked, they should at least have steam engine type stuff.
sum things r emp shielded, and eevthing else cud be rebuilt.....seems stupid dey arent repairin generators or watevers
Agreed. This show is not great, but it's not horrible. It's watchable. I normally watch it on Hulu on Tuesdays and it holds me over until Modern Family comes on Wednesday, Last Resort on Thursday, CFB on Saturday and NFL on Sunday, and then Monday is to catchup on Homeland, Dexter, and The Walking Dead. A lot of parts make me roll my eyes, but overall it's kept my attention.
I've been pretty disappointed so far, I was expecting... idk how to explain it.. more? and little miss cry babies acting has been making me cringe. Oh well, ill keep watching though cause I like the setting I hope it gets better.
They have not created any sense of danger We know good and well none of the main character are going to die The acting does suck No Ordinary Family and Terra Nova were better than this and with the latter. . that is saying alot Rocket River
This past episode I thought was the best so far. Things are starting to change for ole Charlie. She might start breaking bad any day now. Spoiler the part where Aaron, the fat guy, shot himself was awesome. I was hoping he actually died. But the fact he shot heroin guy was a nice consolation.
Hopefully they let her keep going down that road, it'd be a much more interesting slant that just being a do gooder. I was hoping for the same thing you mentioned in the spoiler.
here are some of things I think will happen... Spoiler the boy and his mom will escape from Monroe and go looking for Charlie. All the while Charlie goes to Monroe looking for Danny and gets caught. The black guy's son will eventually kill him. Miles and Monroe will somehow join forces for some reason. Aaron will meet his wife again but she is now married to that young guy now. I could go on and on. Hopefully the writers try and surprise me every now and then.
I'm calling my shot again (#2): Miles is the real father of Charlie and Danny. A few episodes back, Neville told Miles he could "see the family resemblance" when looking at Charlie. Foreshadowing #2: Charlie's incessant bleating about "we're family!" in the 1st episode. And speaking of the 1st episode, the more we learn about Miles the evil general, the less sense it made for him to join Charlie in the pilot... unless he had a really good reason to do so, like, say, his son being captured by the militia. And finally, I submit this reason: Miles is a badass. Charlie is a (supposed) badass. Where do you think she gets it from?
Wtf I don't see how this would be possible. Unless it was one of those sperm donation sorts of things. But yeah, this is pretty wildly stretching.
I can understand once. Like if maybe Charlie is his b/c of cheating. But really, cheating with your brother's wife twice and fathering both his kids? That's too wild even for tv.
Or maybe they were together before and then Miles left her and his brother picked up the pieces and became the daddy.
