Crazy overrated. His shot in the playoffs, while nice was one shot. I watched him toss up brick after brick last night with third stringers guarding him. I'm not saying he's bad because he can obviously shoot (usually anyway), but people are acting like he's the next Ray Allen or something. Not to mention Ray Allen is 6'6. Troy is 6'4, but looks like he's 5'11. I had to make a double take when I saw that.
I saw that. It seems also that he was the one throwing in the entry passes to Howard and showed more patience to get the ball into Howard. Our offense looked much more settled last night than it did all season. Not to say its because of Terry, but it helps having someone with experience out there.
Really wish he would pull Howard aside in practice and rebuild his free throw shot. Howard's form has gotten even worst this year... I like the fact he has appeared to get rid of the ridiculous shoulder flex before shooting, but he still has no consistent form and follow through. He walks up to the line and throws the ball up there as if he doesn't think it will go in. !@#$ the BS about being too big or too muscular... Moses Malone was big and he shot 76%. Karl Malone shot 74%. Heck, Darryl Dawkins shot at least 69%. I find his horrible approach to FT shooting as damning as Harden's approach to defense... and I won't criticize opposing coaches from Hacka- if he continues to make no effort to improve...
turns out he's not a rocket killer, just someone who comes alive when rockets are around. Now that he's on our team he'll play that good every game, not just against the rockets :grin:
Okafor was a great, 6'10 defensive big when he was healthy. He is coming off a major neck injury and hasn't played in awhile. But I would take a flyer for him in a second if he was interested.

Terry is a true competitor and knows his role. Those off the floor actions will help this young team so much throughout the season.
