This gentleman is a respected scholar, not "a far right extremist" that spouts "total BS". You may not agree with everything he says, but it is important to not only live in one's own echo chamber.

 

There are other sources that give more details - I don't have time to search for it right now - but I doubt this is made up or cya kinda of thing.

Point is if they discussed it, and it appears that they very well did, there's no doubt they realized this could be an issue - and yet still chose to go forward with this language - and the AP AA course does not mention anythiing about black benefiting from slavery or black sourced violence at the Tusla massacre.

This is debate is becoming archaic. Folks who really give a **** about this should open source detailed instruction on youtube like the Kahn Academy.

I'm sure there are plenty of college grade lectures relating to AA history and ethnic studies online for infotainment, though I'm thinking more about the rigors of 3rd party (non-binding) accreditation with a track towards acing the AP exam.

With AI, you could conceivably post course instruction/transcript on github, then let the speakerbot lecture straight from the script. This allows for revisions for AP compliance without much downtime, like a Wordpress for video, but geek tech and old fashioned education are like oil and water...

 

The irony is the people who give the least **** about it probably are the ones who need that type of education the most.

You don't need to know about AA history or even American History to become successful. I wish we reinforced knowledge and appreciation for civics and personal finance more often.

Since we're a sprawling nation with 6/8 distinct regions, I guess nationalism should be taught, which fits in with history but yeah, don't really need it to be an adult...

When the median white household has 10x more wealth then the median black household that is a massive massive difference in level of equity and assets.

That means 10x more risk tolerance to invest or start a small business and significantly less fear about things like eviction or rising rent rates.

Ya that makes a massive difference in outcomes and what type of environments the median choe experiences.
