Disagreeing with an issue is different than saying he wants to not work and just collect welfare.

I understand. I just think there are few times I've been more disappointed with our government than what was walked through in that bankruptcy reform package. Government absolutely bought and paid for by banks and mortgage companies.

Not at all. Just showing what a big fat hypocrite you are. Wingnuts have impossibly high standards for Liberals and almost nonexistent standards for Conservatives.

you know what that's very true instead of holding someone accountable for what they will or won't do for the country to get us out of this war, economic, and housing, mess that where in they would rather try to make this election about what someones else said and hold them accountable for that.this country is going to crap right now and u have a preident who admits to not having a clue about the economy and people are still voting for this man?this goes to how you how there are people in this country that don't won't to change the direction this country is going in.their people who are just fine with having another bush in office he ran this country in the dirt.

Whatever pgabs. Sorry that 'association' hurts your feelings so bad. The fact of the matter is that they are both young, inexperienced, prone to corruption and in waaaaaay over their head.

Dude, They are who we thought they were . . . .
they won't change . . .they ain't trying to change or understand
only to attack and destroy and spread their hatred
They will have euphemisms and side remarks etc

Rev Wright's words will pale in comparison to their ridiculously venomous hatred that they spew in this BBS . . . . .

I will say this: Bush's education program obviously isn't working because you seem to have been left behind.

First of all, I type all this stuff from a cell phone in my downtime. Secondly if you can’t understand the point I was making then maybe you’re just as r****ded as your president bush.

Obama seems to have weathered the storm. And this new poll can't make Hillary happy. Recent polling is showing that the Wright fallout is affecting Hillary more negatively than Obama

The problem for Obama is that the Wright scandal wiped out his support from independents. Look at his matchups versus McCain right now -- not a pretty picture for Obama. Because it was the independents who were impacted by Obama's association with racism, hatred, bigotry and anti-semitism, the impact won't be seen in a matchup with Hillaroid. It will be seen in the matchup with McCain, which the polls bear out. OOPSIE

You really should read the article posted before embarrassing yourself.

8 months is a lot of time to repair any damage.

No independent is going to swing to a man who has Bush staff flocking to his team and carries major policies that are similar in vein to the President's.

McCain's hope is to play dirty so that voters will hate or fear Obama more than they do the Bush-led Republican party.

Now the Wall Street Journal agrees --

-- The racially charged debate over Barack Obama's relationship with his longtime pastor hasn't much changed his close contest against Hillary Clinton, or hurt him against Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.
