Defintely a let down era. It is sad that it never worked out quite the way it was supposed to. There was so much hope for the Rockets to bring another title back to Houston.

I think we deserve an injury free pass for the next several seasons, we deserve it...

the tmac/yao era represents the first time since the barkley/dream/clyde days that we had a legitimate shot at making noise in the playoffs.

we just got jobbed in the Mavs series, had crappy role players when tmac/yao were healthy, tmac/yao had injury problems when we had great role players, and happen get a team we dont match up well with in the first round (jazz).

the 90s rockets got routinely manhandled by the sonics because it was a bad match up... imagine if we had met them in the post season... those banners might not be hanging from our arena

Couldn't Stand JVG. If you like the same predictable offense, slowing the game down to a crawl and pounding square pegs in round holes, JVG was your guy. There's a reason JVG couldn't get out of the first round, too predictable and too much focus on "D" and not enough offense.

I couldn't tell you how many nights I wanted to put JVG and Tracy on a boat with no motor, sails or paddles and send it down a fast moving river.

I really didn't mean to make a big deal out of it. It was just a way to convey that the Rockets sucked not because they didn't try, but because they sucked.
But that Denver game did drop us 2 spots back, so in a way JHo did do it. :)

Even though there were many heartbreaks, the era wasw good becausae we continually made the playoffs. I'm not saying that I settle for mediocrity, however wer were coming out of the Francis/Mobley pijama era. And the Mac/Ming era was definitely better to follow because we could at least root for our team against the Mavs and Jazz.

Mac-possibility of being a rox again

Hello, friends. Don't think that i am insane.

Tracy has just finished his games in New York, and apparently he is going to leave as a free agent. Regarding with his ability now, what about we sign him again with a veteran contract.

I remembered a couple days ago, there was a thread about appreciating the Yao/Mac era. It was a pity that they didn't bring any title to Houston. But why not give them some more chances?

We are going to make some big movements this off season, we are going to sign some all-star players. With Yao ming Together, next season we rockets are becoming a competitve contender again. We should put forward the idea of championship to heads again. Hopefully we are going to get either Bosh or the King James.

    Imagine our cast:
    Yao
    Scola
    Lebrone
    Mac
    Brooks

    or

    Yao
    Bosh
    Mac/Ariza
    Maritin
    Brooks/Lowry

Hey, guys, let's pray for it. What do you think?

How do you know this for sure??

Tracy has his home in houston, and he used to play for us for 5 years.

you know what, they are a lot of things that we should sign him again. I won't going to list all of them here, and i believe i can't do that all by myslef.

I really hope this will happen one day.
