    Very gracious. Thanks. :)

I think I may turn out to be wrong about a 50-50 split. Could squeak out that needed Senate seat!

you bring up a good point. some of the incumbents that were beaten tonight had served multiple terms, like 6 or more. imo, that is way too many. hopefully they won't succumb to the beltway....

    but thats probably wishful thinking.

I have never seen H. Ford Jr. live before but he is a superstar, too bad he was born in the wrong state for his politics. He's a natural.

Amazing speech. Took the high road when he could have easily pointed the finger.

He's only 36...there is no way he's career is over.

Tennessee took for granted what states (likes ours here in Texas) don't have...

People who have the capability of leading...

Well CNN is reporting Democrats are leading the 3 remaining races, slightly though. :)

Ford blew it when he confronted Corker about the obscene commercials, just when Corker was about to have an outdoor event. It was caught live on the TV news, and he just looked bush-league doing it. I don't know what he was thinking, but I believe it made a difference. His numbers started going south right after that. He'll be back in the future. I agree that the guy has what it takes to make it in politics. He's a natural, but he has a few things to learn. I think he learned them tonight.

I wonder if they've counted all the absentee votes already. They usually lean Republican (military votes) and in say Virginia where Webb leads by about 20K votes right now, that could make the difference...

i think it has more to do the what we can call "the ross perot effect". the vote was split. perry won fair and square so im not disputing that, but one on one bell, friedman or keaton-rylander-strahorn-mcclellencamp would have taken perry. just like in 92 - one on one bush sr. would have beaten clinton.

    amen to that! :D

Montana is tightening up. I think Tester will win, but does anyone know the makeup of the outstanding precincts?

Kurt Weldon and Rick Santorum.....speaking of these two unemployed Pennsylvanians- are there any WMD hunter jobs available? These guys are into that kind of stuff, in case you haven't noticed....
