Bobby Haircut is being shown the door to the Governor's Mansion in Maryland right now. Another Republican bites the dust. It's a GLORIOUS evening!
i dont think so. They may be more conservative but I think the people that voted for those two would have voted for Bell because they just wanted Perry out at any cost. I voted for Kinky but if I was given the choice between Bell of Perry, I would chose Bell. Same thing goes for most people I know.
Look out for Davidson Co. in Tennessee. It's heavily leaning Ford with only 43% in. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/pages/results/states/TN/S/01/county.000.html
I'm giving Tennessee to them and taking Montana and Virginia for us. From where I sit, it all comes down to Missouri.
It comes to to Missouri and Tennessee, I think. Those two look tough to pull out. Seems to be very slow returns in Missouri, and I hope you're right that those districts that are still out will favor McCaskill. Keep D&D Civil.
We don't lose as bad. More equity on committees, more equity on conference committees. More spine for wimpy Dems due to the big win tonight. Much easier to sustain a filibuster.
Well, I guess the silver lining is that they can't do too much to screw up the economy with only the House, right?
Can't figure out MO. McC has 3-4% lead in exit polls but trailling by 6 (50K votes) with about 60% counted. But StL area looks like a mess on reporting and she will pick up a lot in Jackson. I think this race decides the senate, and it is weird right now, the Dems might just pull it off.
