    Brandon Backe and his family have opened a new restaurant/sports bar in Dickinson.

    Note: It seems the website is down, but it was working yesterday. Keep checking.

    I live in the area, so I drove by there. Nice looking place, but a bad location. I just don't see this thing surviving there. Backe lives in League City, and he could have put it near the Sportsplex or Big League Dreams. He would have made a fortune.

    I still remember the incident at the Galveston hotel...crazy times for the Backe clan...hopefully this was just for fun and didn't blow all his money on this investment, but I gotta believe the market in Dickenson wouldve support a decent sports bar...
