The school taught Hollywood greats like Burt Reynolds, Clint Eastwood, Lindsay Wagner, Farrah Fawcett and Quentin Tarantino. .
I had a Dukes of Hazzard lunch box growing up, loved that show. Roscoe was probably my fave. The way he laughed and called Boss Hogg little fat buddy. LOL RIP Roscoe
I loved that show and character as well as a kid. Who can forget the sherif from that show? It's quite the legacy to leave. RIP
Loved this show and his character. Anybody remember his appearance as a cool rock and roll star that fell on hard times on Andy Griffith? That episode always cracks me up when I think of him as Rosco P. Coltrane.
Roscoe P. Coltrane, Daisy Duke, and the General Lee were my favorite characters on the show! RIP Mr. Best! ....... ....... .......
since I'm not using this in any commercial or promotional way..no. I did, however, link back to the original source.
He was probably the best actor on the show, which, like all of you, I ****ing loved to death as a child. It was way more fun watching Roscoe lose over and over again than it ever should have been.
The genius of James Best's Roscoe was how he made him the lovable heel. Even the Duke boys kind of liked him and sympathized with his mishaps. I would write his signature nonverbal expression of glee, but I don't know how to possibly spell it. Quew-quew! (???)
