I really disagree. If anything he should have added 'scientist says' or at least 'simon says' to the title.
i dont care for david gray. not a huge mayer fan, but i think he has some serious talent. ryan adams is the f*cking man, however. the guy is a prolific songwriter, and is as talented as anyone making music right now. please listen to "Cold Roses" for reference.
David Gray is good stuff, and I consider myself somewhat of a indie music snob. I don't think his music is defined as rock music. He would be in the same genre as Aqualung these days. Oh, if you haven't listened to Aqualung's new album, its really great. David Gray released his epic album, White Ladder, in 1999. Thus would make him a breakout star starting 8 years ago.
disagree, i think married fathers, deep in the closet, would also probably flap their gums along to those tunes.
I agree 100%. Arcade Fire is the biggest thing to hit the music business in the past 5 years. Thanks for the video. Youtube kept deleting these videos, thus I had never seen this performance yet.
I can't believe I'm agreeing with Basso, especially in a D & D thread, but I too like David Gray. A lot. I've seen him live twice. His music is magical. He's even better live. David Gray is the musician that Dave Mathews wishes he could be.
