On a human scale, Barbie would measure about 39-21-33, so maybe these girls are just trying to destroy an impossible to obtain body image. Probably very healthy for them, instead of developing bulemia.
What's sadder still is what boys destroy when we're young. I still regret blowing up my models of the Space Shuttle with fireworks in like '84. I still pray the two were/are not related.
We were ALL this boy: Admit it. Heck, I was. Except picture Isabel, Ms. Woods, meggo, and ruby T doing that to Barbie. Awesome.
Hell yeah.. I was a pyro when I was little.. My friends and I would set G.I. Joes heads on fire and watch the plastic melt off in hot balls of fire and while they were lit we would saw into them with our dads’ Dremels... I still have scars on my arms from that dumb idea..
My sister cut her Barbie's hair (often to the point that she resembled a concentration camp prisoner) and a couple of their arms broke off but I don't remember her mutilating them. My G.I. Joe guys, however, suffered all kinds of destruction - including being covered with WD-40 and lit on fire, shot with BB guns, smashed with a sledgehammer and (of course) having their torsos filled with gunpowder and then blown up.
...also, does anybody wonder why the British are doing a study on Barbie mutilation? How is America suppose to continue OUR pointless, resource wasting studies if the Brits steal our ideas like this?
