that would lean towards talent not culture. They actually signed guys that make a difference. the culture didn't suddenly appear in one summer. they signed an elite player who fit right next to harden and added 2 way players who understood what they're supposed to do. that was sheer upgrade in talent. and since were talking about this, i still remember a ton of this board hating the signings of that offseason. Go figure, they went on to have a historical season The rockets were a solid team before that. They already won 55 games the season before and lost in the 2nd round. The upgrade in actual talent was the next step that led to 65 wins and nearly taking out one of the goat teams in the history of the league in the wcf.
