I agree with the assessment of brooks reed. Every season I wanna like him, am rooting for him to be awesome and he just isn't. I am hoping that will change this year. How long is his contract?

He signed a four year deal in 2011. He becomes a free agent in 2015.

I think red is a little too harsh but he needs to turn the corner. He is on his rookie contract and it's his last year

Well I'd think red would be accurate for him at OLB, hopefully he'll fare better at ILB.

They also have Clowney and Watt on the same side... Would this be a cool idea to just get Mercilus 30 sacks because the whole line has to go to the left to block those 2 or should they be split up because every team will just run or roll out away from them?

He could be a free agent tomorrow.

I really hope they prove you wrong sir. Your pessimistic approach is noted therefore if we go 10-6 or better, I have a big pot of crow stew just for you pimp. Lol

    1. Newton is our best right tackle and the guy who we expected to take over for him is now fighting for his life and we have another OT who is missing time. We have young guards learning a new system (one of which being a rookie) and a center who doesn't fit a power run system. A bad offensive line + Fitzpatrick = TROUBLE.

    2. Fitzpatrick is hot garbage.

    3. We have a star receiver who doesn't want to be here... Probably because Fitzpatrick is hot garbage.

    4. Brooks Reed sucks. It doesn't matter if he's on the outside or inside. He's a bench player and not a starter.

    5. Our two cover corners (K-Jax and J-Jo) couldn't cover a bed with a blanket and J-Jo is never healthy.

    6. We have the worst GM and least experienced head coach in the division.

I can go on but you're getting pessimistic confused with realistic and I don't believe you will be serving that crow homie.

BUT, getting a high pick again in next year's draft would be a good thing for the Texans because we get a chance to get a franchise quarterback (since they stupidly didn't take one this year). Im looking at the big picture.... You're just looking at the upcoming season.

    This could help the roster...

Yep, and so would Eric Winston.
Give them both a one year deal.

Nobody really wants to see another losing season Remii. Well maybe you do lol. Shoots McNair doesn't want to experience another year like last season. So you can best believe they will try their best to get back to the 2011 and 2012 season.

What a load of crap. Just because you say it makes it "realistic"?
Why is your opinion real and others' wrong? Please go away until the season is over. If the Texans suck, then come in a gloat about how "realistic" you are.

Lol.. It's not what I want just my expectations for a 1st year coach in a rebuilding situation.

But if you're right and they win the division I will gladly partake in your stew Mr Chef Balleroydee :)
