Texas Republicans of good standing, let this be your morning MOTIVATIONAL BURST to get out to those polls and vote for Hillary Satan Clinton this morning! Yes to the internecine struggle! Yes to the odorous, rancorous, and cantankerous infighting! Yes to HILARITY.

    HOPE FOR HILLARY FOR HILARITY

It will be ironic when the twins TJ and Big_texxx can proudly say they voted Hillary into Presidency.

What a scary thought! My apolitical mom, who is almost 88, so hates Hillary that I had to take her to the polls already so she could vote against her -- not for Obama but against Hillary.

Obama almost as popular with Republicans as McCain
    By Stephen Dinan

    March 4, 2008

Republicans like Sen. Barack Obama nearly as much as they like their own likely presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain, according to a new Fox 5/The Washington Times/Rasmussen Reports poll.

The survey determined that a quarter of self-identified Republicans rated Mr. McCain most likable, but nearly as many — 23 percent — chose Mr. Obama as most likable. And among all adults surveyed, Mr. Obama was rated likable by more people than Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mr. McCain combined, underscoring the Illinois senator's appeal to voters across the political spectrum.

I've had a LARGE NUMBER of friends and associates tell me today that they voted for HILARITY by checking the box for Hillary Satan Clinton today. What fantastic news! I think this is something that no poll has taken into account. I can't predict the outcome of the race, but I'm hopeful that the Texas Republicans of good standing have made an impact on this important day.

    republicans of good standing???

whatever happened to voting for who you believe is the best person for the job?

however, i will say that this is a clever tactic by republicans.

obama vs mccain... i think obama would roll mccain. mccain is having problems uniting his own party as it is. coupled w/ the fact that obama is pretty popular amoung independents. id say mccain would need a real miracle against obama.

clinton vs mccain... this would definately band most republicans together (minus coulter, limbaugh, and other ultra-conservatives...) i think most independents still have a negative view of clinton. it wouldnt be an easy win for mccain but i think he would be slightly favored.

Strangely enough everyone is getting votes. Well, except McCain the Rep front-runner

Can we have some McCain supporter here to voice his displeasure?

    Looks like it worked.

By the way, I know several people who did this, and are voting Republican in November (as I stated in the primary thread).

I voted Huck... but I'm excited either way with today's Texas outcome. :D

    eh, not so much...

    Harris County 100% reporting

    Obama 56%
    Clinton 43%

Seems your friends (and Trader_Texxx) wasted their vote.

Oh what will IROC it do if Hillary is elected president? :p

    Anyway, rough night for Barack.

    Or don't.

What a pathetic showing for McCain in Texas. Just embarrassing.
