Nothing says working class like Saks and Neiman Marcus.

Somebody needs to bring Clyde into this thread.

    How so?

This is exactly why I never donate to the RNC. I'm pretty sure that there are dozens of Congressional races where $150K could potentially make a huge impact.

$150,000 for clothes from the RNC.

$21,012 worth of free flights for her daughters, charged to Alaska.

$16,951 in expenses charged to Alaska for staying in her own home.

Still out there... the status of her Wasilla home.

They should have spent 150k on high school students to tutor her.

Not good judgment by the campaign, but this is a silly issue, given the gravity of policy decisions facing the nation.

I felt the same way about the flap over Edwards' dumb haircut. (though that was 2.5 orders of magnitude less expensive)...

It was a sarcastic reference to your frequent use of the "fiscal reformer" title in relation to Palin.

    Still standing by that assessment?

the RNC made her do it. its not her fault.

by the way look obviously she isn't well off and probably needed some wardrobe help. but did they really have to spend 150k? and given that they are the side that calls people elitist, its hypocrisy and stupidity.

Maybe she can pull a "thanks but no thanks!" move, return all the clothes, and show up to her next event in sweats!

lemme know when you're as outraged by Obama's $160k in payoffs from Fan/Fred, and his $800k in payouts to ACORN.

then i'll get excited about this.

For you, basso. That was my point.

Jokes are fun. I'm not outraged.

Let me know when you understand that Obama did not get 160K in payoffs from Fan/Fed. He didn't even get that in donations from them. He got about 26K in donations from Fan/Fred. The rest of the money in the amount you are talking about came from individuals who happen to be employed by Fan or Fred.

There is nothing wrong with ACORN, so there is nothing to be outraged about.

Weren't you the one who felt Palin's visit to a Walmart deserved its own thread. Some blather about how going all Walmarty was the reason she connects with voters.
