Mr Brown's microphone at the Republican Leadership Conference was cut off when he made a joke about the Tea Party. Initially the audience applauded when Mr Brown made jokes about Anthony Weiner, the disgraced Democratic Congressman who resigned after sending lewd photographs of himself to women. He said if former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney were to become president, he would have his "first lady, second lady, third lady". The Mormon church outlawed polygamy in the 19th Century. Mr Brown said former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty missed the conference because he was having his foot removed from his mouth. He added that the operation would be covered under President Obama and Mr Romney's respective healthcare reforms, along with spinal transplants. Mr Pawlenty had criticised Mr Romney's healthcare initiatives in Massachusetts, but failed to challenge him directly when the two took part in a candidates' debate last week. Mr Brown then turned his attention to President Obama, saying the president was born in Hawaii, "or, as the Tea Partyers call it, Kenya". The ultra-conservative Tea Party wing of the Republican Party had questioned the legitimacy of Mr Obama's presidency, claiming he had been born outside the US and was thus ineligible to hold the highest office in the land, as mandated under the constitution. Mr Obama produced his long-form birth certificate in May, silencing all but a hard core of doubters. So it's okay when he makes racists jokes about our Commander in Chief, but when he starts to pick on the Tea Party, he's got to go? The GOP shows it's true colors once again.
Well, he's the military's commander in chief. But yeah, between Muslim-bashing Herman Cain and this guy I think I'm beginning to see the GOP's impetus for recruiting blacks. You wanna know how the party that cut taxes in half and won the Cold War still can't take every election over the last thirty years, it's dumb, unsettling crap like this.
You should ask the GOP handlers that cut his mike and yanked him off stage that question. Or were they okay with the jokes about Obama and got uncomfortable with the tea party jokes? So, who can't laugh at themselves?
Man, that was a quick hook. 19 minute video and the vast majority of the jokes were directed at Democrats. From reading the article, I thought he had really started going off on the Republicans but it was really only 3 jokes (5 if you include the earlier ones with Barbara Bush and John Boehner). But at the end there was just one about Gingrich, one about Romney, and one about Pawlenty. Then he told one about Trump who Republicans apparently don't give a crap about anymore and then he was cut off before he could move on to Bachman. So really, 19 minutes of material and it was 3 jokes in close succession that made them pull the plug. On one hand, if you're the performer, you have to know your audience. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Even if you were planning on incorporating equal opportunity ribbing into your act, you should've skipped ahead when you realized they were reacting negatively to jokes aimed in their direction. On the other hand, how bad does it look that the Republicans howled with laughter for the vast majority of the act but couldn't take a small handful of jokes before cutting his mic and physically removing him?
It seemed like the crowd enjoyed his jokes.. I mean they were laughing 90% of the time. Strange that he was cut off like that. It's not like he was being booed off the stage.

He should have been removed a lot earlier. His jokes were lame and not funny. What a waste of 20 mins.
Why is it important to you if they do or do not? Is he in fact not half white? Your question is about as racist as if someone asked **** matters to ppl that you personally might not care about. Being all accusatory and defensive about it makes you a bigger PITA than the original offenders.
It all depends on the reason why it's important to keep pointing out that he's half white. If there is a good reason for it then it isn't important, but if the reason is to try and lessen his achievements, or experiences as a minority then there is a good to ask why it's important for some people to point that out.
