Just wanted to comment that it seems like every thread that SamFisher, MC MARK,vlaruelio, etc post in becomes out of hand because they resort to personal attacks and name calling. Not saying PopRox is entirely innocent here but some of the responses by these three are just uncalled for. Especially vlaruelio calling people "BOY" that could be a very derogatory word. It is people like the ones I listed that gives either side a bad rep. So in this case they do make all the liberals on this board look bad since they are the loudest of the bunch. If I was liberal I would call these 3 out and others like them to cut out their antics and just discuss the issues. If a conservative was behaving in the same manner I would definitely call them out. I have advised PopRox to just ignore these posts but it looks like he got into the middle of it and started retaliating back. I am starting to think it's not possible to have a discussion in here on any topic without someone calling someone else with a different view an idiot.
Stick around and I am sure you won't appreciate my responses after awhile. Anyway I've only been able to check out CF.net intermitently so I haven't been able to follow the all the ins and outs but I find it odd that a poster who just signed up would seem to know about Sam Fisher.

again true I do not know the whole history of everything but I have to call it as I see it. And right now you folks are the ones that are causing a lot of the ruckus in these forums. If there are others that were not civil in the past why do you want to follow in their footsteps and continue what you despise also?

because he's done it on every thread I've posted in... it's pretty obvious what his tactics are.. he has yet to bring up any proof that I am who he thinks I am... Truth is I'm just as new as my post count shows... I also find debating politics much more worthwhile than debating TMac trade rumors. Although, i have posted many opinions on that too... I just think it is freakin amazing that just because i only have 50-something posts that I can't know anything about politics or have a political opinion. The truth is that SamFIsher has been harassing me every since he realized that my political views differ from his. it's pretty pathetic, but whatever gets him off... He's such an internet gangsta.. ha.
who distorts the truth... I said, if you will re-read my post, that both we didn't have a choice but to get into one of those wars (OEF), but I agreed going into Iraq was stupid. I went on to say that every member of congress except 1 voted to go into Afghanistan and that if there is blame going around about the cost of it that they should share that blame. what is wrong with that? how is that distorting the truth?
does that derision and scorn make you feel better? is it constructive towards having any meaningful discussions at all? if you want to clean up these boards it starts with yourself
Like i said you will get extremes from all sides in here.. I am not for name calling or generalizations. So yes I do not agree with Shovel Face that all liberals are hypocrites and POS. I recommend to shovel face to stick with the issues and avoid the name calling. I happen to have a few friends and co workers who are liberals. It is fine that we disagree on core issues in the end I still see them as kind hard working individuals. But you certainly are not helping in here with your remarks. Anyways so far this whole forum hasn't been very interesting since it is just back and forth bickering. I am going to start spending more time in the GARM since at least there most people have one commonality and that is Rockets fans.

He sounds like someone who relies on Fox News for truthy information. lol, "wreckless spending policy" He spends like a 2003 Republican except for the teeny tiny nuggets about the tax shortfalls from the recession, the spending commitments Bush heaped on the budget (2 wars, Medicare Part D), and officially counting the planned AMT exemptions for middle class earners off the books. Constantly wondering if Fox News watchers don't know any better or don't want to know better.
more of the 2 wars thing? I said it earlier and i'll say it again, we had NO CHOICE but to go into afghanistan, and I'm pretty sure that Bush had nothing to do with 9/11. We were drawn into a fight just as we were after pearl harbor. You cannot let someone kill 3400 people and not do anything about it. and to say that Obama isn't recklessly spending is laughable. He is spending money as fast as we can borrow it. Just like Bush did.. they are both terrible presidents for the economy... TERRIBLE.. I am a conservative, and I would welcome Clinton (bill) back with OPEN ARMS!!!
