Maddow doesn't hide her biased opinion, but a simple google search corroborates her facts. I can't stand Olberman. I don't watch cable news much.
Can you point to a single thing in the clip in the original post that is a lie? Probably not, that would require that you watch something that doesn't agree with your worldview.
The blatant misogyny by certain posters in this thread is quite annoying. I guess, to them, calling a woman who happens to be a lesbian with short hair a "guy" or "dude" is somehow funny.

I never said anything in the original video was a lie, but she has lied in the past. my worldviews? lirl. sure dude. I don't watch her because her left wing moral smugness is annoying as hell.
Really? Where are the proven lies. I know Olbermann has been wrong and apologized. I know he skews things and sensationalizes them. I know Maddow has sensationalized things and painted them as more or less dire than they were to fit her bias as well. Neither do it to the extent of Fox News, and I haven't seen either outright lie like on Fox news. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but I haven't seen any real proof of that. Most of the time Rachel has a view point but is well reasoned with presenting her side, evidence and rationale. She was in this piece. It is full of Republicans slamming the stimulus and not voting for it, then praising how great it was at creating jobs and stimulating the economy.
I hardly ever listen to Olberman- even though I usually agree with him he just seems like a douche to me. I only occasionally watch Maddow's show, which I usually like and I've never heard her say anything that seemed like an outright lie, but who knows I don't watch all the time and maybe your right. But in this segment do you have any examples of her saying anything that isn't true? It seems to me to all be legit.
The few times I've heard a hubub over some false statements she's made, she's been quick to apologize and recant.

In googling the Rush MLK threads and Rachel Maddow I found where she apologized showing that she was wrong, but not necessarily lying. Googling about the Rachel Maddow/Dick Army/Meet the Press incident showed several articles about Dick Army lying. There is also an article from media matters that debunks the claim that MAddow was lying on Meet the Press. Here's what it says. There is also an article in which Maddow apologizes for the Shirley and Banister hubub. This conversation is at least tangentially on topic since it goes to the credibility of the first post. Shovel's didn't even come close to doing that
