Decades of service to his country, whether in the military or in Congress. Character, honor, respect, and integrity. Bipartisanship. He is a true patriot.

well they have driven home the theme, the speaker before laura was a POW and he introduced all the POWs, Medal of Honor winners, and Vets in the crowd.

I'm not gonna be a jerk to the individuals, but really what was the message there, we promise more war?

I don't know if Palin will end up being a terrible choice but I still think McCain made a great decision not picking Lieberman. He is flat out boring..

Don't attempt to speak if you have nothing to say. Your illiterate post really contributed a lot to our discussion. Thanks.

once again mccain's people taking obama's quote WAY out of context, just like the iran situation saying it small.

do they proofread what they say?

How is this speech boring? A Democrat speaking in favor of the Republican nominee? How often does something like that happen?

His service is completely admirable, no doubt. But what else defines his character? There's got to be more to John McCain the person than his military service and his tenure in Congress.

Oh c'mon. He fumbled the abortion question at the Warren forum pretty much as bad as he possibly could have.

...and just because I don't drink the liberal kool-aid on this board doesn't necessarily mean i'm voting for McCain. I'm undecided as of this point.
