Yeah, thank you. She lied, again, about Obama's tax proposal. Said McCain will cut everybody's taxes. Um, okay. Budget anyone? Deficit anyone?

And energy weise, it's true, she said "take it from a gal who knows the north slope, we've got plenty!" And that's just too shortsighted for our current moment in history.

Then she listed, in no particular order "nuclear, wind, solar, and geothermal," but she said nothing about supporting those.

So, yeah, I have to round it off to 0% If I'm not rounding, maybe 0.4% substance. And then the snide, nasty, ad hominems, again not based on policy. Telling...

 

Good point. One thing I'm tired of, and has been wrong with our country for some time is having VP's that can't field dress a moose.

I would put my VP priorities as such -

Is intimate with a champion snow machine racer: check

Can field dress a moose: check

Mocks people who perform good and valuable services for poor communities: check

Knows foreign policy: who cares?

Knows the duties of a VP: who cares?

Is prepared to assume the duties of leader of the free world should something happen to the President: who cares?


Now she might be a little lacking in the unimportant qualities in VP I listed near the bottom of the list, but she is spot on for the most important ones.

 

if i were obama, i would put out a statement condemning the attacks on his community service. and I would come out strong on that, and talk about republicans wallowing in ignorance as usual

also, alaska has a budget surplus because it doesn't have a million people and it gets federal royalties from oil fields leases.

That's a traditional Republican method. They say Republicans will lower taxes and Democrats will raise them but they won't say who for. The poor conservative who makes $20,000 a year probably thinks he will play less taxes with McCain as president than with Obama as president when in reality the opposite is true.

Let's look at the points that Palin supporters have mentioned about her.

She's a family woman.

She's tough

She had good delivery

She can field dress a moose.

Outside of field dressing a moose where is the substance?
