lol no kidding. it was pretty painful at times. I believe it was rudy screwing up and not the actual speech.....but who knows.

 

can they stop passing the baby around like its a lucky charm.

 

In all honesty, I hope she gives a good speech. At least she can have this moment.

 

You know, by the Republican definition, Palin is more qualified to be president than John McCain is. But that would also make Guiliani, Romney, and Huckabee more qualified as well. That didn't work for them either.

 

it was childish, but all of their jobs is to rally the base. the only real problem i had was the ignorance of him and the entire audience laughing at the fact that barrack went to work as a community organizer when he could have taken a wall street job

LOL - and they're waving signs that say "service" while they're doing it too.

I mean that's just crazy.

edit: basso - I just turned it over to watch Palin for you. I've got to say not super-impressed so far by her delivery. I thought as newscaster she'd hit her cues a bit better.

 

Giuliani is a hell of a stand up comic.

 

I also liked the part about Islamic terrorists.

Doesn't mean he cant review the speech before he spews all that crap on national TV.

If I knew I was surrounded by imbecile buddies, I sure as heck would.

 

yeah this whole executive line is terrible too. it's like they completely forgot mccain has never been an executive in govt.

I think he probably does review it, then he makes it even more stupid, and they all say "good idea rudy! good idea!" Honestly, I've heard stories like that about that being the way he and his circle operate from former City folks.

 

So it is OK to bring up certain kids, huh?

So far it's a bunch of rhetorical blather. The "mom" stuff doesn't cut it. Let's get to some specifics.

And it's ok for McCain to have photo ops with the baby daddy, but don't you dare question Palin's moral grounds for telling other people how to raise their families.

 

I like how the women were moved up front for Palin's speech. Subtle.

 

keep the kids out unless it serves a purpose
