Well- the fact that he filled a stadium with 90,000 people and set a record for the most watched political speech in television history illustrates otherwise, because there isn't a single politician in the modern era who has come close to generating the type of enthusiasm that he has via his speeches.

In the single biggest issue of this campaign, John McCain got it right, Barack Obama got wrong.

Giuliani bite his tongue? McCain sold his soul to the Republican party.

Giuliani: "Unlike me, the Democrats didn't keep bringing up 9/11 and try to use it as their own story of personal heroism, ignoring all the first responders who were the actual heroes..."

No, I'm probably not even going to watch. I didn't watch Biden either. I didn't watch Hillary or Bill. I only watched Obama. I'll watch part of McCain when the football game is off.

I don't need to watch, unless she drastically changes her stance on a number of issues (abortion, creationism, global warming denial) she's basically just a stock right wing cartoon character who isn't even worth my time. The fact that the Focus on the Family people are busting nuts over her is basically the kiss of death.

I don't expect Republicans to take Dennis Kucinch seriously, I sure don't most of the time. I don't see why I have to take a fringe right winger so seriously.

This harping on Palin's executive experience is funny. If you want to go by that, she's more qualified than McCain too. Why isn't she at the top of the ticket?
