    It could be, but then some speakers have a transcendant ability to connect with people other than just the party faithful - BO is one of those people, look at his appeal to young people, the huge crowds he draws etc. I doubt Palin has that appeal.

    I do say she probably appeals to the Unabomber vote though. So many synergies there.
