I would rather not give any hints. Thank you for understanding my apology. And for what it is worth, I lurk here quite a bit.

Your posting style has, as well. I still remember your first post towards me where you mockingly told me to "try to keep up with the big boys" or something along those lines after I made a sarcastic post that took took you to task on some techicality. I have no clue what the subject was but I remember the gist of the exchange.

Now, my dear Max, we are old and mellow.

At least mc mark hasn't changed. He has always been a loser.

In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey
butane in my veins and I'm out to cut the junkie
with the plastic eyeballs, spray-paint the vegetables
dog food stalls with the beefcake pantyhose
kill the headlights and put it in neutral
stock car flamin' with a loser and the cruise control
baby's in Reno with the vitamin D
got a couple of couches, sleep on the love-seat
someone came in sayin' I'm insane to complain
about a shotgun wedding and a stain on my shirt
don't believe everything that you breathe
you get a parking violation and a maggot on your sleeve
so shave your face with some mace in the dark
savin' all your food stamps and burnin' down the trailer park

    Yo. Cut it.

The point was we were both embarrasing so no need to apologize.

Regarding this thread - isn't it odd how different the two sweeps were? In '94 there was the contract and Newt - the Republicans were load and in charge.

This time around the voters were loud about Bush and the Republicans but the Democrats are so lifeless and have yet to hammer down a real vision. Much more uncertainty but as pointed out in another thread at least people are becoming more involved.

So...I had to look that up. Obviously I know the song because I am of that generation but I sure didn't recognize the lyrics. I suppose I am the loser since Beck is a big deal. I should have stuck to my original instincts and just called you an "actor".

    I lose again!
