Rand Paul, followed by signature bat**** crazy repug., followed by signature uneducated r****d repug., followed by signature morally depraved repug, followed by signature racist repug., followed by signature hypocritical repug differing from every other repug becuase he is too stupid to hide it.

Yea I'm pretty sure they'll live upto their expectations of Turd.

Except for the reference to Perry I agree and think someone will emerge for the GOP and make it close or at least the media will make it seem close. Actually the popular vote will be fairly close as usual, but the electoral votes will tend to make a decisive winner.

It is hard to see Hillary making a big error. If the GOP candidate makes a big error, which is more likely it could be a landslide.

1992 was a different era - with a very different Republican party participating in the process. The electorate has changed. It's not the messenger so much as the message, and somebody is on about a 10-year run of message fail.

As for nobody thinking Obama had a chance in 2000, btw, that's just wrong, unless maybe if you get/got all of your information from 65 year old newspaper columnists and network TV talking heads - sort of like letting Michael Jordan GM your team.

I think one thing is for certain and that is whoever is elected will be an improvement over the current Administration. Hillary, while she is an unethical shape-shifting politician, at least has significant political experience. Jim Webb is a Democrat who I could actually respect, given his military service and some of his more centrist positions. I sincerely hope he runs in the primary. I wouldn't vote for him in the general election, but wouldn't vomit if he were President, unlike Hillary, Biden, and Elizabeth Warren.

She won't. Just like in 2012, the phony baloney is just trying to gain attention, stay relevant and keep up the fees for speaking engagements. Palin has no intention of putting in the hard work necessary to make a serious run at the nomination.

I would liken her to some of these high school footballers who enjoy acting silly while yanking people around before announcing where they go to college. She will wait as long as possible.

Don't forget Paul and Bush. Walker and Huckabee may be in as well. I don't think Palin will actually run. With if both Romney and Bush are in the race, I don't see much of an opening for Christie - he attracts all the same people but without any of the national infrastructure or money.
