woke up at 6 in the morning just to take pictures. Went to my moms house to print them clearly and everything. i was a little mad I didn't get to have my spiel.
I think most of us at this here forum CF would NOT ride in a car with your, you law-breaker, sir. See my post that proves you were wrong.
Huh? I know where the concrete is and isn't in the picture and in real life. Aside from the last 6 months, I've spent my entire life living in that neighborhood, partaking in the goodness that is C&D Burger Shoppe's mini burgers, corndogs, milkshakes, fries...and gravy. Oh, the gravy. Ok, now I'm hungry and it's not even 11 Anyway, you're talking about the gray part of the median, which I did in to account when making the picture. His car (unless it's a Hummer or garbage truck) could most definitely take the path I illustrated. In fact, the picture you provided is good evidence of this. It's clear to me that he could easily travel perpendicular to traffic once he has left the median "zone" and was actually in the lanes. Besides, if there wasn't at least a hair of leeway on what constitutes "traveling in the wrong direction" then about half the time anybody had to make a wide U-turn in a median, they would be ticketed for "traveling in the wrong direction" for that split second that they were facing just a slight bit in the "wrong direction" while completing their turn. Anyway, all of this is moot since the case was thrown out. I just wanted to play defense attorney.
So you didn't get to present your twenty seven eight by ten colour glossies with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was in court??? You didn't even get to use your pictures of the approach, the getaway, the northwest corner, the southwest corner and that's not to mention the aerial photography???
None of it. I did avoid a 300 dollar ticket just by pleading not guilty and showing up at the right court at the specified time.
What a shame. I thought for sure the next series of posts was going to be from prison, after the OP got thrown in jail for contempt.
i'm glad you got your ticket dismissed, way to fight the machine. i'm also dissapointed that you didn't show the judiciary the 'picture' you posted in the op, because it's probably the most hilarious thing i've seen all week and surely would have been more impressive magnified and on an easel.
i hope your description in court is better than that first post...i had no idea what you were trying to say
OP you need to thank god that your case didn't actually go to trial -- you would have been humiliated for wasting everybody's (i.e. the judge's) time.
