Ah yes, his farewell gesture to the city of Houston and Oilers' fans after he'd just finished shoving a rod up our collective behinds on his way to Tennessee.
A lot of low class posts in here. Didn't y'alls mamas teach you that it's disrespectful to grave dance? very ugly
Agreed. I am not Bud's #1 fan but I do appreciate the years of Oilers football that was played here I hate to see him pass . . .as with anyone He brought football to Houston Kind of a McNair before McNair Hell . . .he Brought McNair to Houston [though he didn't play him right away instead play cody fricking carlson . . . but] RIP Bud. Rocket River
i dont' know if anyone is dancing but if you didn't respect him while he was alive it would disingenuous to change your turn now.
Can't believe y'all can't keep the low jabs for even people who passed away. Just unbelievable. Y'all are low with these comments. Sad stuff.
In hindsight, Bud was right for wanting a new arena and the city was wrong for not giving it to them. The way he asked for it was the problem. IMO, Bud vs Bob Lanier screwed the Oilers and the Oiler fans. That Steve McNair team that went to the SuperBowl should have the Houston Oilers. McNair, Eddie George, Del Greco, the Freak
and i can't believe you expected anything different for when bud adams died. bud adams himself wouldn't even take offense to these posts.
Stay classy, Texans fans. Bud Adams is also the guy who brought pro football to your city and the guy who created the AFL. RIP.
I expected my fellow Rockets' fans to at least keep the BAD comments to themselves... or to not show their bad taste for someone who has passed away. What happened to respecting the dead? The man still left a family and personal ties with a bunch of people still alive. No need to trample over his death. It's sad that people ARE in fact "dancing."
lol, what exactly was tacky or classless about that? honesty and sensibility is tacky? he said nothing objectionable in that post. get off your high horse. it's laughable to think that the city of houston should be in mourning when bud adams died.
i don't know you are mad. you got your beloved Houston Texans with your UH QB and Aggie Coach, no Longhorn heros like Earl Campbell no Vince Young or Jamaal Charles or Earl Thomas
What does bringing football to us mean if he's the same guy who took it away? He was a greedy SOB and I'm glad he's dead.
I think he couldn't go on w/o Bum, they connected and obviously now will always be connected. When the Texans honor Bum in a couple weeks, there will be cheers and tears. Bud found a way in on this day and there will be a mixed reaction but the Texans have to mention him. Unbelievable that their legacies will end on the same day in Houston. RIP
Really? This is nothing. If you think this is "low class" then you should have read some the comments in the Cleveland paper after Art Modell died. From what I recall, there was a long line of Browns fans who wanted to let their dogs do their business on his grave.
RIP. I'm not going to hate on Bud at this time. We should have just given him a new stadium, and the Oilers would still be here.
