Im indifferent. Sixth Sense was one of my all time favorite movies though. Everything else was ok. Quick question though, do you guys actually hate him as a person? If so, why? Is it simply because you're not a fan of his movies? Serious question.
no i saw this movie as part of an english class where we were reading a story that it was based off of. the TA about 1/2 way in was like 'man this is taking good literature and making it complete garbage" we finished watching it and instead of having a discussion on the film she decided that we should probably go home and watch The Simpsons to get whatever we just saw out of our heads.
Smith may that be that great of a director but I'd watch any one of his films over anything M. Night has done since the Sixth Sense.
The Village was quite possibly the worst movie ever made. And I really do mean that. That movie was terrible.... Shyamalan has made 3 good movies: Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable Everything else has been unwatchable.
I liked the village, sixth sense and unbreakable. signs was alright. everything else garbage. he shouldnt put his name in front of his movie titles
Partly...google "Village Shyamalan Analysis"... Lots of themes that are covered in the movie. Might not be a great movie, but its far from crap.
MNS really knows he sucks...but he won't reveal it until the sequel. and he is really a squirrel...what a twist!
One thing - Can someone explain the DEEPER Meaning in LADY IN THE WATER. That one escapes me. All the other are obvious that one was . . .. weird Rocket River
It's amazing how deluded M. Knight is...and the sad thing...unlike a Uwe Boll or Paul W.S. Anderson...the guy has a good deal of talent. But he's too wrapped up in his own ego and has become too lazy of a director for that talent to be seen. I guess he's never gonna get it.
I liked Sixth Sense, but it was basically an adaptation of a scary story from when I was a kid. Everything else has been straight garbage. Always a plot twist, even when it doesn't make sense. He comes out with a movie about a family going through hard times, then in the end you find out the dad was really a horse. He shows you this by playing a quick montage of hints throughout the movie. I don't know why, but he really pisses me off with his movies. The last one I saw was Signs. I refuse to see another one.
The Village is one of my most favourite movies ever. I wasn't expecting any twist, so I really enjoyed the film. Ya'll is haters.
