Report: Turkish GM Says Shaq will Join Team Next Year

    With the lockout looming next summer, and possible into next season, I think that it might only make sense for Shaq and other players whose contracts are expiring to consider looking into playing overseas since it's possible that there might not even be any such 2011-12 season. I think that the NBA is less afraid of cancelling a season since the NHL cancelled the 2004-05 season over labor issues.

    Not surprised. With labor uncertainty, Shaq is looking for a big paycheck. He would also be a huge star over there. Knowing the way Shaq is, he'll probably spend the entire offseason learning their language so that he can do Turkish commercials, TV shows, and movies while he plays over there.
