The Oklahoma City Thunder have apparently soured on big man Kendrick Perkins as according to Andy Katz of ESPN, they attempted to package the former Boston Celtic with the 12th and 29th picks in Thursday’s NBA Draft.

    Per Katz:

Elsewhere, a source said Oklahoma City was interested in packaging its two first-round picks (Nos. 12 and 29) and Kendrick Perkins for a top-five pick. But the Thunder have had no takers either.

He means a top 5 pick in the second round, right?

Huh... the OKC Thunder soured on big man Kendrick Perkins in 2013. The rest of the league soured on him in 2011.

How does trading Perkins and the two years and nearly $19 million remaining on his contract get the Thunder to move UP in the draft?

Big mistake in hindsight... it probably cost them Harden.

    Are...are they serious?

Good God, they are just not realizing how big a mistake they made!

Who the **** would ever trade a top 5 pick for perkins? They'd be lucking if they get a mid first RD pick.

    Exactly.

If Dwight chooses the Rockets next week, we should pitch in and send Sam Presti a bouquet of flowers for the Harden trade. :)

The Thunder would get more value trading Perkins for a bag of skittles than trying to get draft picks with him. LOL...Mr Presti...you so funny

Lol, if any team takes Perkins off their hands for a first round pick that team immediately needs to fire their GM.

As a poster above said, they'd be lucky to get a top 5 pick in the 2nd round for Perkins.

Lol good luck Presti. The Thunder would have to use #12 and more just to shed Perkins' contract which happens to be one of the worst in the league right now.

I guess you can't be considered a genius if you don't have multiple top 5 picks to worth with, eh Presti?

The Thunder probably need to give up a first round pick to get a team to take Kendrick Perkins off their hands. They really should just amnesty him.

wow thats absurd - maybe if Isiah was still a GM somewhere but really? Those two picks and Perkins would be needed to just consider offering a 2nd round pick or something. To say that he is worth that contract to move up???

Presti maybe buying into his own hype if he thinks he can pull this off
