Report: Royce White did not make Sixers’ preseason trip to Europe

Royce White should just get some therapy to face his phobia about flying. There are so many therapists out there teaching people to deal with anxiety, panic attacks and phobia. Stand up and fight you fear like a man so he doesn't have to face all the ridicule.

 

Never heard this before. But I remember a TED talk by Dan Gilbert about how people are inherently too optimistic about the future. It's just the lottery ticket idea, basically. People attach more value to a lottery ticket/draft pick than it's really worth. See: Las Vegas.
