yes. When I said wild I meant it has extemely low chances of working out and that's why only for unguaranteed contracts its worth it. You don't know Jennings very well. He had very little dedication. Only 3 weeks ago he even posted in twitter that he is retiring from the nba, only to delete it afterwards.
I wouldn't call it extremely low. There a lot of different factors that go into a player's recovery, age being a big one. Wes Matthews just signed a deal at twice the value of Jennings' current contract following an achilles injury, and that is a long term deal that could be devastating to the Mavericks if he doesn't make a full recovery. They don't seem worried. My point is that the Rockets should be attempting to acquire a player whose upside is actually higher than Patrick Beverly. Sure, Jennings may have to have limited minutes his first year back, but those minutes will still likely be more productive than Beverley's. And if they can get him for not much more than the contracts of Kpap and Prigs (which works money-wise) it could be a nice buy low move. I would even include Jones.
for kpap and prigs if nothing else came up (because we would need their cotracts) then of course I would trade him. I agree. Btw Wes Matthews contract is a joke. An awful horribly risky move and if they don't worry then they are idiots. We aren't idiots. If you want you can check the plenty of info posted around the web on players coming back from achilles. Most of them dont ever play again, and those who do play again are never the same. Mavs are idiots and I will be there to laugh at their demise.
