This most certainly hasn't happened. Most of the board lives in Houston and if there was a report, there would be 3 different threads about it. No news except from a post on a RealGM message board means that it's bogus.

That's what I figured but you just get to having wishful thinking. Hopefully by next week we will know something, thanks though.

Phoenix is said to have the inside track on this deal...

    But why?

McGrady's leaving Orlando because he wants to go to an established team that is not rebuilding. Aren't the Suns rebuilding? Is Amare as dominant as Yao, as in does he get the same number of double teams and attention?

Just say it, T-Mac, just say it.

I didn't think I would be a proponent of trading three starters for McGrady, but I'm convinced. The thought of him playing alongside a quality big man is enticing.

that's crap. sports radio would never hold anything like that back, plus if it is already done odds are it would of already been leaked.

has anyone considered T-mac's cluase in his contract that allows him to become a free agent next summer?????? this could be a one year thing in exchange for probably a backcourt that is under contract for at least 3 more years

Wow...a week or two ago I thought there was little to no chance of T-Mac in Houston. I have mixed feelings about dealing so much for him, but he does have a chance to be an MVP caliber player and I think the opportunity is too good to pass up.

Like its been said, it all comes down to whatever team Mcgrady is willing to agree on an extension with. It would be stupid for any team to deal a lot for him if he didn't want to re-sign.

As far as Dallas goes, they could get right in the middle of this if T-Mac agrees that a trade with them is ok. However, I don't know if the Magic can afford to take on all that salary between Finley, Jamison, and Walker. I am assuming Nash and Nowitski are untouchable. The Pacers have the best offer for the Magic, but I find it hard to believe they will trade two starters and two up and coming players with high potential for him.

a resigned marquis daniels, najera (or bradley) and finley for TMac and Howard looks pretty good...not the best..but pretty good.

No way in hell Phoenix gives up both Stoudemire and Marion.
McGrady would be better off staying in Orlando.

    Dallas might go bonkers...

Steve Nash, Josh Howard, Antawn Jamison for Shaq

Michael Finley, Marquis Daniels, Antonie Walker for Tmac/Howard

    Dallas lineup:

PG Derek Fisher via MLE, Delk
    SG T Mac, Abdul-Wahad
    SF Dirk. Najera
    PF Howard, Fortson
    C Shaq, Stickboy

Phoenix is not going to give Amare and Marion, i think Orlando is just getting too greedy with them.
