Wow, 100,000! That's tied with the highest amount fined (with JVG for some comments about Yao being called for inexistent fouls). Talk about Rockets Staff hate!

Because teams have to pay serious dough to the NBA to go over the cap.

Stern: If you want to be a good team in my NBA, you have to pay.

Stern probably doubled the fine because he hated some of Morey's twitter comments over the last year.

Morey knew how to post about the officiating and get away with it on twitter. Smart man.

I really do hate David Stern. I promise that once that dude retires, I will get the NBA League Pass and pay more attention to the league.

It's not surprising considering the CBA negotiations are coming up. Execs were probably told to keep their mouths shut about the CBA too.

I'm thinking he won't retire for another 30 years.

So is fining their own employees part of their yearly profit?

The ridiculous thing about this is that Cuban got fined the same amount for comments that are way beyond what Morey said.

    Dumba$$ stern!

It seems ridiculous to fine him for these comments and the amount of the fine seems excessive since Morey does not nearly have the money as someone like Mark Cuban who would just shrug at the amount of that fine. Stern is such a dictator.

A man like Stern will never give up his power. He'll swear an oath to the Dark Ones, become a Lich, and continue to run the league after he croaks. All he'll need is a crypt with a wireless connection and he'll be good to go.
