oh believe me i cannot wait. all the b****ing and whining about how bad the defense is to start is what im looking forward to @ I had plenty of fun doing it to the PJ Tucker haters that knew nothing about him and thought he was a nobody
Oh I know, you know better than Morey. You think he's going to destroy the team and everything would be great if he'd just listen to you instead. It's brilliant, keep it up.
yeah and yet another use of reasoning that is dumb. Great GM of course, the best in my book, but hey he's never made any mistakes apparently. every single player hes brought in has worked out just fine for Houston right.
Can someone post Jordan Schultz tweet this morning (Says several people he has spoken to see rockets as favorite) quite a turnaround from his last tweet that lakers where hes preferred option
That's alright, I don't plan on continuing to argue with you. I get that you think that Melo is cancer and that the team and the GM disagree with you. In this instance, I'm going to assume that you are wrong and they are right until I have a reason to think that you know better. I acknowledge the possibility of it, especially since I've been in that same position before.....like when I said signing Ryan Anderson was a dumpster fire of a move. We'll see how it plays out, but basing your opinion of Melo on how he did on a dysfunctional Knicks team not going anywhere or on an absolute disaster of an OKC Thunder franchise next to the most selfish player in NBA history.....well, it's just not that much better than those who based their opinions of Melo and Harden on their feelings for Jeremy Lin and I'll leave it at that.
Manager: Melo wants more touches on the left block where he can jab step three times and take the contested two. Morey: ............ Dantoni: ..........
I'd put it this way: Ariza: Offensively: 3/10 Defensively: 8/10 Melo: Offensively: 6/10 Defensively: 3/10 Still losing value overall, but if you can use Melo in the right offensive role and still rotate defensive wings (Moute, others), it could work out overall. I won't fret about it until D'Antoni would have a chance to work with it. This isn't NBA 2K where stats exist in a vacuum. Everything is about the system and usage and spots on the floor and rotations and fits and synergies.
you must not know what more assumptions and wishful thinking means. your actual reading comprehension needs work
Melo's offense will be better. He's always thrived in an MDA offense when he's had legit playmakers to lead the way. One of the reasons him and MDA butted heads was during the lockout year where he had Melo running point and then tried to bench Stoudemire and move Melo to the 4 to help spacing but clearly there was resistance from everyone because of the losing.
Yeah, but doesnt it make difference if they waive him before the season starts VS waive him at the end of the season? I understand his 27m salary is getting paid for sure, I am asking in terms of luxury tax part which Thunders is trying to reduce. Sorry, I am a noob on these salary structures.
With the current CBA (Bima, assist s'il vous please?) what are the salary cap effects for a stretched player's former team? If/when the player signs w/his next team to whom does that salary go, the player or his former team? How much does the contract's value affect the cap factor for the team that stretched? Thanks, folks!
Quick question...um....how we supposed to sign Melo with Anderson still on the team, Capela still not signed, and no cap room?
