I'd like to know who you guys suggest we play instead of Ryan Bowen right now. Our team is pretty depleted due to injuries right now. I don't think he'd be getting this kind of playing time were it not the case, but I think it is also worth noting that the Rockets have been winning a lot of games lately with Bowen in the starting line up. How bad could it be hurting us if we've won 5 out of 6 lately?

All these games have to go down to the wire and with the exception of one, Bowen cant really be credited with any of those wins. Graham deserves more oppurtunity. Bowen is dismal on O, graham cant hurt that much in that sense.

JVG sees himself in Bowen. dumpy looking white guy w/ no talent but willing to put in lots of hardwork.

    and yes, it is true.

Agree with lots said above: shoudda kept Padgett, give baxter and graham some time - they absolutely must be able to outshoot Rybo otherwise they need to be taken out back and shot!!!!

We miss Derek Anderson. There, I said it!

Gundy is obsessed with 100% perfect defense and it seems is willing to ruin his bench in order to have it even at the expense of letting go a guy who hit several game winners last year, and has put up some decent numbers when needed. And I dare say despite his rep Rybo's defense is not that much better than Padge's. Rybo is not Artest, he is not lock-down, he will never win a defensive player award, unless it is for defensive 12th man of the year.... 420th best NBA player....

    per 48 minutes:
    Rybo 7.5 pts, 6.5 rb's, 1.8 steals, 0.3 blocks, 1 to, FG % 31.7%
    Padge 18.3 pts 12.6 rb, 2.0 steals, 0.8 blocks, 1.8 to, FG % 47.2%
    and 52% 3pt shooting.

adequate team defense and spectacular role player three point shooting and pretty darn good rebounding. no contest. bad off season move by Gundy.
