It is easier for the 'so-called' Rockets fans to pick a select few people to blame. Alot of them do not what it means to play a team sport. I jsut hope the Rockets team doesn't share the same mentality that the majority of this forum does.

It is true, but I am not sure the Rockets believe Yao will lead them anywhere, it is rare that a leader steps away from his leadership role for the good of the team ala Robinson with Duncan.

Tmac should step aside and let Yao lead, he should tell him to do it, but I think Tmac is so in love with being Tmac...and the persona that comes with it, his ego would never let him.

mcgrady has been spoiled here in houston. les likes him, jvg wanted to leave his fragile ego intact, and adelman is not known as an in-your-face type of coach. and yao being from china.

i truly believe this team can be a lot better, if (a big if) and when yao has the same passion we've seen him display on his national team. i have had this feeling since jvg's first year here. yao probably has never felt this is his team.

Yao has had plenty of time to take up the leadership role and has failed to step up. T-Mac cannot stop Yao from being a leader.
