I've always thought his famous charge was against Roy?

As for underappreciation of Hayes, I don't think that's the case. It's just a matter of him not having much upside as a player. 3 years ago, Hayes was our best PF, and he wasn't really talked nearly as much as our rookies back then. Now, it's the same thing. Fans are more intrigued by the potential of Hill and Patterson. It's what happens when everyone knows your limit.

He did in that series... but I thought he was talking about the 07 Jazz series... game 5 I believe? I don't remember which game but it was in Houston and he stepped into the lane to take a charge from Fisher.

QUESTION: What is wrong with Chuck's offense?
I mean is it instincts? Concentration?
Why has he not improved . . seemingly at all on the offensive end?
He needs to HUSTLE and WORK HARD on that end too!

Even better - thanks for the correction (I wasn't sure but any Jazz player that gets pwned by Hayes will do).

I was thinking about him last night. He has to be the first PF off the bench. No way you throw Hill in there with all of the defensive liabilities he brings. Maybe this will encourage Hill to learn defense better.

Well, put it this way. Some people were given a certain amount of God given talent, coordination and athletic ability. Heart and work ethic are to be commended if you maximize your talent.

Chuck is doing that, which is why I think he is a good defender and a good leader/team captain. But some things you can't change with hard work (height, athletic ablity ceiling, some coordination skills) imo.
