I am sure you have an access to the internet. In unheralded Cleveland, Andre led the league in assist once with over 10 per game. He score a descent share of points and his assist to turnover ration was a healthy one as well.

You placed KG in a category for "second fiddle player on a great team." Personally, I think the fact that KG carried the T-Wolves to the playoffs all the times by himself showed me that he is a great player. KG would never be a second fiddle on any team without Shaq. The only thing that actually is preventing them from getting to a second round is a good "second fiddle player on a great team. Wally isn't the "good second fiddle player needs to be able to take over atleast a quater of the games by himself. Look at the top 4 teams in the west right now (not based on records) Kobe does it all the time for the Lakers, Bibby does it for for Sac, especially in the playoffs, Finley does it for the Mavs, and Parker has had quite a few 28 - 30+ pt games for the Spurs this season. While Wally can give about a consistent 20 pts/ game, he very very rarely will be able to take over a game.

A good second fiddle player a great team in my opionion is even if not the best player on a team, can be the first option at any given game even if the the primary player is having a good game jsut beconse the second fiddle player is having a better game. A primary Player on a great team is the primary option unless the the second fiddle is having an amazing game. KG falls into that category, Wally falls into neither. If Minny has any of the "second fiddle players" u mentioned (Pierce, Kobe, Stevie) I can still see KG being the primary option and I can definitely see Minny getting past the first round.

I admit that I wanted Miller over Francis.

I'd rather have Francis, as Miller has proven to be a chump.

That doesn't make him a winner, just a good looser. Even if he averaged 10 assist per game, it just makes him a good player but not a franchise player type of player. Steve is a player you can build a team around, Miller isn't. If you ask all the gm's in the league if they have to start from scratch which player would u rather have to build around Francis or Miller, how many of them would u think would choose Miller? As for the argument that if we get Miller cause he is better pg and therefore will lead us to more wins, I don't buy it. How successful will the Rockets be with out a proven franchise player? How good would Yao be if we add the pressure of expecting him to be the leader this season? Just my 2 cents.

you say that if minny had pierce, walker, kobe, carter, etc. they would play 2nd fiddle to kg. i disagree.

talent wise, kg is primo...no doubt. however, i believe it's his natural mentality to defer to others...and that would not change if you added any of the players i listed above. why? because they (with the exception of carter) believe in taking the big shot, being the potential goat/savior, and leading a team. i have not seen that from kevin garnett. what i've seen is an extraordinarily talented player that doesn't want to be the ballhog necessary to carry a team deep into the playoffs.

What?? Francis wasn't outplayed by Miller in that game?

Miller: 22 pts, 11 ast, four reb, one stl

Francis: 25 pts, nine assist, six reb, two stls; including game-tying three-pointer to send game into OT (in which the Rox won of course).

So you don't think THIS Rockets team can/will go far in the playoffs? Because Francis is the Rockets best player right now, you know.
