Just wanted to shed some light on what happened today and to remind everyone to still have some faith in this organization! This is not a feel good post, but rather how things can often look next to bleak at first, but yet can still end up turning up roses for us in the long run.

There is a reason that Morey is the best GM in the NBA, always working, always a step ahead of everyone else. Anyone calling for his job at this point, is simply pouting and are not able to work around the bad flop. It happens, we're pissed, we move on. Trust in the braintrust, trust in the long view, and just know how blessed we are to have the best SG and the best center IN THE GAME on our roster, and how jealous 95% of the league is of us, even after all of our "bad luck."

These guys aren't sleeping tonight to make sure you have a proud, competitive basketball team to root for this season, have some respect, and if not for them, then at least for the process...

Yes this was a huge shot in the nuts but we have been kicked before and always managed to turn it into so,etching. We have a bit more in the works I am sure. We just have to let the dust settle.

I have a feeling we will be better off than last year after it's all said and done.

Sure thing he wasn't but we thought we had him in one our high security cages.

But you know the rest of the story. Electricity went out, Raptor escaped, ate everyone.....

Exactly my point, I was so disenchanted I was ready to take a step back from the NBA for a while, then came that pre-Halloween deal from Presti and I was cautiously optimistic again. Don't forget we were all about letting Lin BEAST with Asik before that happened, wow...

Thing is Morey went for overrated FA's with Gasol and Nene, this time he swung the fences for guys that would'Ve really helped us and badly missed. Plus, we lose Parsons or have to match his horrible max contract.

Only good way out of this would be to either:

A: still grab someone like Rondo, Love, etc by packaging a lot of our youngsters, euro stashes and picks. Rondo seems the most realistic option imo

B: Sign guys to short-term contracts and swing the fences again next year.

How does Bosh stating he was coming over if Lebron leaves Miami equate to badly missed? We don't say that when a fielder stops a home run by climbing the fence. Great catch, unlucky, etc but not a bad miss.

Wasn't talking about Bosh punking us. Just saying Morey Should've concentrated on more realistic targets like Love and Rondo instead of trying to appeal to a guy like Melo who wouldn't have been a great fit anyways and knowingly had NY on his mind all the time.

Trading Parsons for someone like Love or Rondo would've been the safer move in my opinion.

I do think things will work out fine and I'm fine with bosh staying in Miami. What ticks me off is we've extended ourselves out there now with the assumption he was going to sign. We could have kept Lin on the books to use as a trade piece later and take our time looking for best fit and deal. Instead now we're committed to finding someone in the next 40 hours and talking about people like Anderson and josh smith. At least with the Pau deal we didn't lose leverage or assets to move forward.
